spherculism is dead...long live spherculism

Hello fellow spherculist, matt here. You have been rather neglected for the last few years. The site has gradually degraded, the gallery is broken, the forums are like a ghost town and I've not been around for aaages.

But things have been happening behind the scenes. Both the poi scene and the internet at large have seen some huge changes over the past few years. It's all gone a bit web 2.0 and 'social networking' has taken the place of the humble forum.

As many of you know I have been in New Zealand for about 3 years. In that time I've migrated my skills from wed designer to web developer, I specialise in building Drupal sites. I've built some really epic sites including Webshops, a big e-Learning project and online video sites.

So how does all this benefit you? Well I've been gradually building up my skills with the goal of updating this site to once again being the most absolutely badass community spinning site around

One topic that was fiercly contested was the idea of people paying for individual online lessons. The price would be minimal - like 10p-50p a lesson or something - and the quality would be excellent because teachers could devote a bit of time to it...

The best part is that anyone can create, give away, or sell these lessons...That means YOU :)

But that's just one small part of the new site, which may or may not happen depending on what you want.

So get involved and email me spherculist [at] spherculism [dot] net and tell me what you think, go on, send me a little something so I know there's still some of you about...

Big Love

matt
